We are Located at 425 Washington Street, Somerville MA 02143
Frequently Asked Questions:
Do you take reservations?
We accept a limited number of reservations each evening. We set aside a portion of the dining room for walk-ins.
What is the wait for a table?
It depends on the night and time of the night. If there is a wait for a table, our host can add your name to the waitlist and quote you a time in person. We cannot take names over the phone to be added to the waitlist. We can serve you a tasty beverage at the bar while you wait for your table to be ready.
Do you offer parking?
There is ample parking available in metered (and some unmetered) spots on Washington Street and Beacon Street. Additionally, if you are a Cambridge or Somerville resident, there are plenty of resident parking spots in the area -one of the perks of being right on the Cambridge-Somerville line.
Do You Accommodate Dietary Restrictions?
We try our absolute hardest to accommodate dietary restrictions. We ask that you call ahead so we can consult with the chef in advance of your arrival.
Which credit cards do you accept?
We gladly accept MasterCard, American Express, Visa and Discover.
Does the restaurant have wheelchair access?
Is smoking permitted?
What is the dress code?
Please wear clothing and shoes. We’re not too concerned with the details.
Do you sell gift certificates?
Gift certificates can be purchased in any denomination and make a great gift for anyone. To purchase a gift certificate, call 857-259-6585 or purchase online. We will mail the recipient a gift card along with a sample menu.
What type of liquor do you serve? Do you have a bar?
Yes, we have a bar with a full liquor license. We serve the full menu at the bar.
Is The Kirkland Tap & Trotter a good place to bring babies and very young children?
Sure, we love babies and kids. We’ve got a few of our own. We have high chairs and what not that we would love to provide. Unfortunately, our space does not allow for stroller parking at the table, but we happily provide valet for strollers. We do strongly prefer well behaved children, but who doesn’t?
Is The Kirkland Tap & Trotter able to host private events?
We sure are. Give us a call for details at 857-259-6585 or contact Lindsay@tonymaws.com.
