We’re on Fire!

Welcome to The Kirkland Tap & Trotter, James Beard award-winning Chef Tony Maws’ inviting and funky interpretation of a neighborhood joint.  KT&T’s food is simple, hearty and approachable. It’s how Tony cooks at home for friends and family. At the center of the kitchen is our hardwood grill where you will find us cooking up grilled meats, fish, vegetables and other fare.

Tony has designed an affordable menu with a range of items, including many options to share and weekly specials, such as our Sunday $16 Special on Sunday evenings (every week, we feature a special for just $16), Hot Dog Mondays$2 Grilled Oyster Wednesdays, Kids Eat Free Sunday through Thursday from 5:30 – 6:30 pm, and a Weekend Brunch Menu, making it easy and enjoyable to eat here often.

Beverage choices are representative of things we like to drink. Try something from our expansive beer list, a straightforward and delicious house-made cocktail, or one of our many wines by the glass with our usual preference toward wines with a bit of funk.

We are open for dinner and drinks seven days a week starting at 5:30 pm, and brunch Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 am-2:00 pm!

Graduation Central

If there’s one thing a soon-to-be graduate deserves, it’s a delicious meal…one that’s not dorm food and that they don’t have to cook (or pay for). Thankfully, we here at Kirkland are here for you. Whether you have a star pupil graduating from Harvard, Tufts, Lesley, Boston University, or MIT, great grub is less than 15 minutes away. The best part? We’re open all day long every Saturday and Sunday, so you can treat your beloved graduate to brunch, lunch (we offer a lighter, mid-day menu from 2:00-5:30pm), or dinner – or several of the above.

If extended friends and family are coming into town, you’ll want to know that our dining room can accommodate up to 28 guests in one party (based on availability). We also offer full or partial buyouts Sunday through Thursday. Just contact Michelle to inquire about pricing, menu options, and availability.

And if you’re not able to wine and dine your graduate in-person, don’t fret: You can still treat them to a meal with Kirkland Tap & Trotter gift cards. Ours come in any denomination, and can be reused if there’s any remaining value on the card. (They can also be used at brunch OR dinner!). To purchase a gift card, simply click here or come on in to the restaurant.
